Well an update is needed I guess for the last 25!!! Years. Right after graduation I married and moved to NC for a couple of years while he was in the Marines. In 89' I moved back home after the marriage broke up.

When I moved home I attended IUP and began dating my husband Steve Vasbinder (Class of 86') and received my BS in Accounting in 1994. We married in October 94'. He came to the marriage with a beautiful daughter Stephanie (born in 89').

We now live in the same home I grew up in on Pine Street and in October 96' our twin sons were born (Mark & Thomas).

I worked for two different Accounting firms in Indiana and DuBois and part-time on my own before the boys were born. When they were about a year old I decided to open my own practice in our home. I created a wonderful practice and in December 2008 I sold my practice and officially retired. Reasons unknown!!!

On Mother's Day 2009, my Mother-in-law was diagnosed with early stages of Alzheimer's and she moved in with us. (God has guided me through many of my decisions and I feel this is just one of those times.)

My son Mark was diagnosed in 2005 with Neurofibromatosis and had to undergo two brain surgeries to reduce fluid in the brain. He has tumors on both optic nerves and cysts on his kidneys and parotid glands. But not once has he said why me!!! He makes me very proud every day...He loves to play guitar and saxaphone. Thomas just started taking piano lessons and is really loving it. They both attend SSCD and are in the 7th Grade.

I volunteer at SSCD A LOT!!! I am the SCRIP Tuition Credit Coordinator, Home & School President and Auction Chairperson.

My daughter graduated from IUP Culinary and is currently about to make us Grandparents in June...doesn't seem quite right!!! She is currently residing in Stillwater OK.

We enjoy Drag Racing as a family...My husband started the trend and when the boys turned 8 he sold his dragster and bought the boys each a Jr. Dragster. Thomas has been track champ in his first year and just this past year. Mark has been close behind....just hate to have them race each other early in the raceday because one of them is done right away.

It is nice to have this website to catch up on everyone and I have made quite a few contacts in Facebook. Feel free to look me up.

I think my most memorable time is in Mr. Barilar's class when he would take the girls sandles and throw them out the window. Also take the boys snuff and put that right into his drawer for later.

I also remember the time I went to Mr. Pete's class and was wearing a shirt someone had brought me from Germany. He made me go to the locker room and change into my gym uniform for the rest of the day....Red and White stripes...not flattering!!!
