Garth J. “Boots” Roy, 43, Rossiter, died Thursday, July 24, 2008, at his residence.
He was born March 5, 1965, in DuBois, a son of the late Alex Roy II and Myrtle J. (Cessna) Roy-McGonigal.
Mr. Roy was an avid hunter and loved fishing and the outdoors.
Surviving relatives include a son, Lucas Roy of Rossiter; a step-father, Tom McGonigal of Pottersdale; three brothers, Alex Roy III of Montoursville, Jason Roy of Punxsutawney, and Duane Johns and wife Sara of Rossiter; a sister, Julia Winebark and husband Gary of Rossiter; 11 nieces and nephews, Seth and Corbin Roy, Dane Roy, Alexander, Natasha and Jenna Winebark, Alexis, Haden and Jenessa Roy, Iisac Roy and Nikki Johns; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
